Every chair at the table matters because everyone around the table matters. When you sponsor a chair, you are making space for our neighbor looking to belong, looking to connect, maybe looking for Jesus. This takes resources, both tangible in food and administrative fees, but also in intangible things like staff time that goes into creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Our community dinners are a beautiful expression of what it means to be a follower of Christ, to love our neighbors and make disciples. They are a representation of what the Kingdom of God is like - neighbors around a common table in the presence of Jesus. This sponsorship opportunity is an opportunity to make that kingdom testimony happen in our neighborhood.
Jesus opened His table to everyone, always making room for more. At Connect Church of the Nazarene, we too open our tables to anyone who wants to join us - there's always room for one more at the table. Our goal is to embody Jesus' grace and spirit of radical hospitality every time we come together. When you sponsor a table, you create space where our neighbors receive that grace, welcome and can experience love from our church and, ultimately, Jesus.

When we get together as neighbors, we share a meal. The more that come, the more groceries we need. When you give to help cover the groceries, you are making sure we have food in abundance for anyone who comes to our table.
None of our food goes to waste. We offer seconds, thirds, even to-go boxes for those who just couldn't get enough of the scrumptious meal. If there's still more food to go around, our team will assemble to-go meals and distribute them to those in need on the street of Spokane.
