On July 14th, ConnectDinners put on another great Free Community Dinner. 51 friends and neighbors came together for an evening of tasty food, fun, and good times. The air was full of conversations and laughter as people of all ages gathered to eat and meet their neighbors.

The dinner menu was a big hit! Everyone got to make their own tacos with delicious cilantro lime chicken and ground beef, lots of fresh toppings, crispy chips and salsa, and delicious homemade cookies for dessert. We all had a great time sharing a meal together and hanging out. Besides the food, the kids had the opportunity to take swings at a piñata.  All the kids had a blast as everyone cheered them on until the candy scattered across the parkinglot.

ConnectDinners is getting to know our neighbors. Our goal is to help our neighbors get to know each other better and show God's love through serving. We're excited to share that July's dinner had almost twice as many people as our first one! It's inspiring to see so many people wanting to build stronger, friendlier neighborhoods, one meal at a time.

Keep an eye out for news about our next community dinner – we hope to see even more of you there!
