WHAT A NIGHT!

The word is getting out! Fifty-seven of our friends and neighbors came out for our third FREE Community Dinner on August 4th. We love seeing friends and families return month after month and neighbors inviting neighbors.

Our incredible volunteer team served over 160 BBQ pork and chicken sliders, along with all the fixings: tangy coleslaw, dill pickles, chips, and Otter Pops for dessert. Our impact went beyond the dinner itself, as we prepared multiple to-go plates and distributed an additional 25 meals to our homeless friends in Downtown Spokane.

Once again, music filled the air as we shared stories and learned a little more about our neighbors.  The evening ended with a spontaneous sing-a-long and energetic rounds of Hokey-Pokey and other kids songs.

This event is a true reflection of our mission to Love God, Love our neighbors, and help everyone become more like Jesus. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special night!
